Combined Training is an equestrian discipline that combines Dressage and Showjumping. It involves a rider and the same horse competing in both phases on the same day.
Dressage
A test of the horse's training and obedience, judged on accuracy, precision, and movement.
Show Jumping
A test of the horse and rider's ability to clear a course of obstacles in a realistic time.
Tack and Equipment
Tack and equipment used in each discipline must adhere to the respective rules of that discipline.
Scoring
Competitors are scored separately in each discipline, with penalties from the show Jumping phase deducted from the Dressage score. The winner is the combination with the highest final score.

Because every combinations skills at Dressage and Showjumping are different we have designed our classes to run to allow you to pick your own level of dressage test. So you can make a choice thats right for you.
Cross pole Jumping with Introductory or Preliminary Dressage.
50cm Jumping with Introductory or Preliminary Dressage.
60cm Jumping with Introductory or Preliminary Dressage.
70cm Jumping with Preliminary, Novice Dressage.
80cm Jumping with Preliminary, Novice or Elementary Dressage.
90cm Jumping with Preliminary, Novice or Elementary Dressage.
1.00m Jumping with Preliminary, Novice or Elementary Dressage.
Competitions typical run during the day on Friday or Saturday.
Prizes
We award rosette for places 1st to 6th in each class and at some competitions we award an additional 1st places rosette for the best Lead rein, Unders 12s, Under 21s, Seniors, Veteran Rider (Over 50), Racehorse, Veteran Horse and Cob.
Allens Hill run an annual Championships each Easter to qualify you need to have of been placed 1st to 6th in one of our competitions in the previous twelve months.
You can also qualify for the Trailblazers.
